This is a solid bourbon. Like many others noted, it's ridiculously smooth for a 100-proof bourbon but definitely complex from start to finish. The finish lasts longer than many others I've tried, and that's a good thing. It's savory, spicy with a creamy, rich texture. I've been impressed with my first drams of Heaven Hill's whiskeys and this is another solid effort from this distillery.
