A rather lighthearted scotch. Intense notes of pear on the nose, combined with a hint of orange. cinnamon and slight raisins. Reminds me of applestrudel. In the taste, pear is dominant. Sweet, fruity, a splash of honey. Does have some bitterness to it, reminds me pear shell. This bitternes stays with you long after any sweetness is gone.
Not a bad whisky, but far from my favorite. The sweet fruity notes are awesome, but I could do without the bitterness.
