I had high hopes for this one as I thought the 10 year quite a nice drop, quite rich and viscous and great value. Initially when opened it I thought it needed to calm down but a week later it was still the same. Slightly bitter ethonally flavor out-competes the remaining components. I gave this 3 goes and was shared amongst a wide number of others with same opinion. Maybe dud bottle? Well down the list of Glenmorangie favourites. At least at $85 it didn't break the bank.

Yeah was trying to think of a stand out but nothing really strikes me. Haven't had a bad drop until this either though from that distillery
I made more or less the same experience... didn't even bother to write a review. Very disappointing, if you ask me. The Port-finished Glenmorangie is much better.
