Soon it is September and Bourbon Heritage Month To celebrate this month I start a tad early with Buffalo Trace Bourbon. A lot of people have gone through the flavor profile so I'll just concur that it is very sweet, but I have a huge sweet tooth so I don't mind. It is not a deep complex whiskey, but hey it's only 369 SEK (~$45 USD), which is inexpensive. It's a great everyday sipper and doesn't pretend to be more. If you like bourbon and cocktails it's a must have for your whiskey cabinet, shelf, box, or wherever you keep your hooch. I give it a solid 4 because I like it and it didn't break the bank. Cheers. If ya go to Kentucky for Bourbon fest, drop by my mom's place, she always has cake. 😀

102, see whiskey is good for you. I'm sure my mom has some bourbon in the huse. I mean it is Kentucky. 😀
Every time I see her out there it inspires me to have a drink. :)
Mike, cake is good but my neighbor on cape cod always keeps plenty on alcohol on hand to encourage visitors. She calls it her bait. She will be 102 in February and moves around her yard like she is in her 60's.
40%? It's 45% in the states and just over half that price. Still it's good stuff, not my favorite by any means but it gets the job done
I agree, definitely felt the low ABV on the palate.
Same here in Norway, it's one of the more affordable bourbons. Too bads it's been diluted to 40%, though.
