I knew I loved this whiskey from the first sip. Unlike the distiller rating of highland park 18 year, Amanda Schuster's rating of 97 is right. Nice to see Serge at whiskey fun gives it 90 and he's hard to please! Nose- vanilla pears apple Palate - creamy rich just the right hint of sweets almonds hazelnuts Finish - toffee! Sublime body warmth no burn long long finish 46% abv is the perfect strength- NO WATER OR ICE or any other rubbish required :) Sumptuous and classy - I dont think you can buy this easily sadly Hud
