Had a drop of this when out for dinner. Didn't really blow me away. Got the oak, faint vanilla notes and sweetness. Maybe a case that the bottle had been opened to long as flavour profile was muted. Have to judge on what I taste though. At $240 USD for 700ml bottle equivilent it's a 3.

Yeah I have a bottle if the 21 year which I did like years ago when I first got into whisky sitting there appreciating in value. Although I've only been buying and drinking whisky for a few years now some of my earlier purchases have climbed in value a fair bit. Will be a hard call drink vs save for my retirement fund :-)
I think that high price tag is because it's now a closed and dismantled distillery
