One the nose: Rum raisins, brown sugar, sweet fruits and vanilla. Palate: Rich and sweet. Finish: Initially a soft vanilla finish followed by somewhat more intense dry and spicy notes. Relatively short in length. A delicious and round malt, ideal for converting the uninitiated and sceptic into malt believers (for which I have used this malt with some success), or simply sipping when one wants an undemanding but elegant dram.
