Talisker 10 Year

Number 3 today. On the smell it's actually my least favorite of the 3, but damn the taste makes up for that.
Smell is bandaids, apples and salt. Took me a while to get anything at all, so not really impressed, although the apple note is rather strong.
Taste is complety different. Peat, pears, salt and cereals, all in a smooth as hell combination that is just delicious. It has similarities to the Storm, but it feels more compact, the notes blend together a bit better. Not the strongest peat note I had, but it is noticable and rather pleasent.
Aftertaste is peat and salt with a bit of sweetness.
Yeah, after comparing the three, the ratings are fair. Skye, Storm and 10 Year are all 3 good whiskys, but the 10 Year takes the cake and gets the 5 star rating from me. It's not going in my top shelf yet, but it is very close. Prices on the 3 are about the same (Master of Malt prices), so if you want to spend 40 bucks on a good bottle of moderatly peated whisky, get the 10 year.

Haven't tried that one yet but from my expierence Talisker usually puts out good stuff, so I'll definatly gonna try it if I have the chance.
Yeah the 10s my favorite so far but 57 North is right up there as well.
