Yesterday we got sweet Rum and Bourbon, today I'll try an Islay. Got this just because the local discout market had it. It sounded good so I bought a bottle. It did not disappoint. The smell is peat, vanilla and bacon. On the taste I get sweet peat, salty pork and general meat flavors. Think honey glazed smoked bacon. Kinda reminds me of a dialed down Laphroaig. I like it. The aftertaste is rather short, but not bad. Sweet, smoky. A Nice 30 bucks bottle of whisky.
