Oct 2017 Tasted after Powers Johns Lane, and Tyrconnell Single Malt Nose: Chomp bar, wood sap Taste: brown sugar on first taste. Added a bit of water. Sweet, lingering finish. Second Balvenie I have tasted after 12 yr old Doublewood. Fan so far. Giving it a 4 star rating for now.
