I can do ..the Tamdhu! Wow, this is a 10 year old? I think someone's pulling a fast one here. This is like ZZ Top's "Legs".. It knows how to use them. People seem to compare this to the Macallan 12, but I think this is more of a Glendronach type. The nose is faint to me, but has really nice spice, ginger, honey, mmm sherry everywhere. Palate is a pop of cinnamon sticks without being sweet. Peaches..no.. nectarines, with faint raisins, red grapes, peppermint, and vanilla. Finish is short to medium with caramel corn and toffee. I won't spoil my upcoming Batch 2 review from my earlier expo experience, but this distillery gets better and better. Count me in for more drams please! Thanks for the sample Ryan.

Pranay, sounds like I had a similar experience with that Cardhu 12. The first day, I was like oh no, this is not for me. Thankfully, I only poured about a half to one ounce. The next day I poured another half or so and I swear it was completely different. Maybe worth another try at a tasting or expo.
I saw a batch strength at one of my local go to liquor stores and almost grabbed it. Only reason I didn't was because I snagged their last bottle of Dark Origins, a new bottle of Valkyrie and a Glen Grant 10, then I ordered 2 more bottles for the tour. The total was high enough without another $90 on top
Seems like I was the only one that didn't like this. Maybe my glass, or something I ate, or just me personally finding an off-putting ingredient or by product in this one
