This was one of the early single malts I got into, I think because it was available everywhere and often kept in a place of prominence at grocery stores and terrible liquor stores. I thought it was fancy. Then I found other single malts and realized what I'd been missing. It's fine, but if this is all a menu has in the way of whisky I will sometimes skip it.
