Cheers to my good friend Lee for this sample. On the nose, sweetness takes shape with vanilla, caramel, cherries/sherry, and sweet tobacco. For the palate, darker fruits like blueberries, cigars, toffee, salted peanuts, and cashews. The finish is nice and long with some sulfuric notes on the back end. This is not the older original release which gets slightly higher marks I hear, and I'd love to try it. I'll give this a 4.0. The theme of this dram should be "Smokin'" by Boston.

@LeeEvolved : it's silly prices now, if found at all.
@PBMichiganWolverine - sadly, I missed the boat on the original Cigar Malt. I would also love to be able to get a little taste of that one. I heard it was fantastic.
@LeeEvolved : I'm curious how this will compare to the original Cigar Malt from months ago. Wish I had some left for a side by side
I’m looking forward to getting back into that bottle after a month of oxidation and see if anything materializes. It was so close to being a great dram. So close. I’m glad you enjoyed it, Telex. Cheers.
