This is a classic bar staple; if you don't have a bottle of this hanging around at home, then you probably don't intend on entertaining company (or at least no fun company). What else are you going to offer your friend to mix with Coke? Sure, it's not a cask strength, 20% rye, single barrel select, with an age statement, etc., but that's not what it's intended to be. This is the Bud Light of the whisk(e)y world, and I can defend having this on my shelf far easier than a bottle of Jack. Dump some in your soda next time you're sitting by the campfire and stop being so damn pretentious.
