Finally found my way to this Bourbon. In my quest to explore fine scotch and bourbon I just assumed it wasn’t worth my attention given the price point. So, I apologize to the whisky Gods because of my pretentious avoidance of this Bourbon. I can only that you and this app for finally causing me to buy a handle. Thank you. Nose, sweet, alcohol, and a little more I can’t specifically identify. It really shines on the palate. The perfect balance of sweet and spice. I feel like I can taste the wheat in the background. . . like a Virginia pipe tobacco. Maybe close to a subtle hay. I’ve had so many more expensive Whisky’s that pale in comparison. All I can say is thanks to you and this distillery and if it maintains this quality it will always have a place in my cabinet. So, if you are reading this wondering whether to pull the trigger . . . DO IT. As for comments . . . Please let me know what else I’m missing.
