Decided to get a bottle at France 44 this month: price was right ($45 or so) and because I was intrigued after tasting its smokiness in a mixed drink at restaurant Sanctuary (downtown Mpls) that was fabulous. A whole different experience trying it neat in a Glencairn. This one will take some acclimation time..... The finish is intense. At the end, the empty glass still has fumes to foist up my nose. Whoa. As another commenter said, “Here’s one for the big boys” (‘cept I’m a gal).
