Excellent bourbon action going on here at a $35 price point ‘round my parts.
Nose is red fruits, caramel and vanilla that grabs your attention. The cinnamon and clove get loud and proud on the velvety mouth and a medium dry finish of tobacco, cinnamon and burnt cane sugar seals the deal. Not my favorite finish ever but no major complaints.
Can’t really go wrong with this one, folks. Despite their somewhat dated bottle art (1990’s, anyone?) Eagle Rare 10 year is a great daily sipper worthy of a spot inside your home bar.
3.75/5. It’s a bourbon wise beyond it’s cost.

Hmm, don't think I'll bother with this one now. Bourbon prices in Australia are very steep - this one is usually around US$70.
I've danced many time with the EC small batch and it's a winner. And at a nice price! The EW single is now on my list. Cheers!
I recently tried the Elijah Craig barrel strength. Very much like the Four Roses LESB, except affordable and available. A huge step up from this already well made Eagle 10, but not breaking the bank
A solid value bourbon, decent product. Seek out the Elijah Craig small batch (formerly 12 year old) or the Evan Williams single barrel. Both are around the same price and are much better
