Like the Budweiser of Irish whiskey. Inexpensive , mass produced, drank large quantities as a youth when the aim was to get smashed. As my palate and temperament have matured and mellowed I have favored more complex and flavorful single malt scotch and bourbons. Always seem to have a bottle or two of Jameson’s on hand. Use it for Irish coffee and a few other concoctions primarily.
