this rye forward bourbon uses 68% corn, 28% rye and 4% malted barley (Augustus bulleit's original recipe was 2/3 rye, 1/3 corn)
nose: oak, warm spices, rye,
palate: sharp, tangy, burnt sugar, rye, Woody
finish: med long, soft, spicy, sweet
I good all around bourbon, this works well neat, and it's flavor and price fit into a cocktail well, though a higher proof would make me like it a little more
