This was pretty rough when tried as a sipper. However, in the multitude of Rum punches we had on vacation, it was the backbone, and they did not taste right without this rum.
Edit- I used this in a spiked apple cider and it gave the drink a “bananas foster” taste that was awesome. I also used it in an aged spiked eggnog, and it was fantastic. Still not good on it’s own, but it shines in a mixed drink
