Courtesy of an evening of my portfolio review over drinks and dinner by my finance gal. Seaweed, brine, salted caramels, and sweet honeyed nuts. This is really good. At $25/pour probably not...but heck it’s Manhattan, and I’m not paying for it ( not directly at least...I’m sure it’s all in that 75 basis points that I pay her and her firm). When this pour is more expensive than the appetizers and dinner, you gotta savor it. Makes me want to buy a bottle. Or better yet...hold another portfolio review.

It is a great dram...a stand out amongst a number of disappointments I've had from that distillery. I need to get another bottle me thinks...
There is something comforting in coming back and simplifying and yet something rewarding trying new things. Ah, the dilemma.
@LeeEvolved it’s just classically great, in-line with the affordable and very good peers like Lag16, Laph10, Ardbeg10/Corey/uigi, Springbank10. Sometimes I think if we stick to those few, we’d be equally if not better off than the dizzying array they place out there
I haven’t had this one it what seems like a millennium. It was one of my favorites when I was a “noob”. Sadly, my quest for new malts keeps my from old faves. Great review, @PBMichiganWolverine- cheers!
Ah the perks of the life of an executive. I don't envy any of your responsibilities, but those perks...
