There’s nothing that says class than sipping a single malt in your hotel room out of cheap plastic clear cups, sitting in your gym shorts and a wife beater shirt. I feel that a Glenfiddich is the wrong drink for this picture. Instead maybe moonshine? Anyway, here on a business trip in Orlando, and I managed to smuggle my Glenfiddich sample in the carry-on. Nose is lacking, but promising. Oak, spicy, a bit hot. Taste is much better. Ginger, bread dough, more spice like nutmeg and cinnamon. Quick finish. It’s good...but really nothing to write home about. Decent. One can do better at the price range. The bourbon cask in this range was much better. Then again, just an opinion of some guy sitting here in gym shorts and a wife beater, what do I know?

@PBMichiganWolverine - I need something, that’s for sure. My fear of flying means I’m gonna have to be sauced before or shortly after takeoff and from what I’ve seen on the news the airlines don’t have much patience or a sense of humor anymore lol. I can hear the pilot’s intercom now “Sorry folks, but we have to turn around and head back to La Guardia...” OFFICER: What’s your deal, sir ME: I just told the stewardess I needed one more Glenlivet and that it would be in her best interest if it was a double. 🙂😕🙂😕🙂
@LeeEvolved I think you need that golf and whisky trip to Scotland. June is amazing there...
@LeeEvolved yeah...with the new job, I’m traveling 2x/month. Basically Denver, Orlando, and Seattle. I might have an India trip later in the year or next. So...my office is in Denver, but I work out of home 2 weeks, travel 1 week, work out of home 2 weeks, etc @MMMNRICE dude, wife beater shirts are the best! The attire though seems to go well in Orlando, but not Denver, and definitely not when I’m traveling to Seattle
Classic, got a friend that always wears those wife beater shirts, didn’t think anyone else actually wore them! Nice review
You crack me up Pranay! =) I've had a few trips like that.. lol
How did I miss this review? I’m still jealous that you get to travel so much for work. My commute is 5 miles and I feel like that’s the only stuff I see: work, home and the 3 stoplights in between, lol.
Ugh, I was ok until you mentioned Girvan.
@cascode I forgot to mention I just came back from the gym after running a few miles, all sweaty and stinky. How’s that olfactory addition to the otherwise memorable retina engraving? Repulsive, but memorable. Like that Girvan I had some time ago. 😊
An image I did not want is now burned into my mental retina.
