Darker honey colored. Light bodied with an oily mouthfeel. Nose: Caramel, brown sugar, and some apple sweetness. Soft spices and nuttiness are present too. Palate: brown sugar and caramel to start, then some apple, honey, and soft spice join in. Finish is medium length. somewhat dry, and a touch hot leaving some lingering spice, nuttiness, and honey. Overall it’s pleasant but not impressive. A tasty dram, but not mind blowing. The finish leaves a bit to be desired in my estimation.
