Eagle Rare 10 Year Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA

Look: burnt orange, Eagle Rare looks like a typical bourbon, not noteworthy in its darkness, somewhat surprisingly considering the age statement
Nose: Vanilla pops up right away, with some nice wood notes, and some brown sugary scents. Swirling brings a little fruit and brown sugar come out. Time to time, I get cherry, but it’s pretty faint in this glass.
Taste: Ridiculously mild, in a good way. Taste follows the nose, brown sugar, some pretty mild, not too edgy wood, back of the tongue experiences some spice, but nothing unGodly hot. The finish has a taste of malt o meal, and more brown sugar than vanilla.
Finish: mild finish, little burn, but slowly builds up to having some bitter tannic notes, but at an amount I find enjoyable.
Overall: Eagle Rare is a great, one of the bourbons that made me really interested in whiskey, and provides a longer aged spirit for an affordable price.
