The nose initially had a pretty sweet vanilla aroma, with some general cereal sweetness Taste has a lot of bready flavors honey, and very very mild spice. There’s an Apple/pear thing too. Adding a bit of water gives way to more fruity notes The finish is very clean, with little lingering flavors. This whisky was part of a tester set I got, and is a nice surprise. I was expecting this to be merely okay, but I really dig this.
