Jefferson's Reserve Very Old Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA

Thin raw oak, vague watered down caramel sweetness and a soft mid palate burn. My least favourite bourbon in a while. No where close to worth the price. $81 in Ontario.

@Generously_Paul and @PBMichiganWolverine thanks for the heads up as always. I had to look up to ensure GOTH was real just to make sure you guys weren’t messing with me. Lol.
@deuce26 yeah...and key note: it’s not GOTH cask reserve as I originally thought, thinking it was marketing for some subculture that’s just way too cool for me to try
@deuce26 look out for the Jeffersons groth cask reserve. Really good stuff. Not sure on the price though.
Thanks for the review. I have been thinking of pulling the trigger on Jefferson Reserve (especially the ocean one) but just haven’t pulled the trigger. Seems gimmicky and for the price I’ll probably not pull the trigger. You are confirming my doubts. Maybe one day I’ll find a bar with it and give it a try. But, can’t see investing in a bottle.
