I wouldn't say I'm a fan of Teeling. In fact there are much better Irish drams (Redbreast, Yellow spot, John Lane, Quiet Man etc.).This one isn't to bad though. Mild, well balanced with slight acetone. 3.5. Still doesn't scale dizzying heights. VFM not to bad at $100 USD.

They weren't there but I'll keep an eye out for them. There was a newer Irish company which has been buying whiskey for 40 years and are about to distill their own up in Derry. The Quiet Man. Enjoyed the 12 year variants and they weren't expensive.
I’ve had good luck with West Cork brand Irish whisky. 2-3 bottles in and I’m constantly on the lookout for more from those guys. Small, but great, distillery. If they are at your festival I recommend giving them a try. Cheers.
