Dramfest ' 18. This whisky festival is amazing. $100USD and I've tried nearly 70 drams in 2 days. Less than $2 a dram. And yes this was one. I went there early in the morning on the 2nd day as the dram never showed up on day 1. They literally hid it behind the banner display. It was like a covert opp as she scurried behind the display and very quietly poured the 4 of us a dram. Very, very nice. Beautiful balance. Faded peat and vanilla, very subtle. 4.25. Def not worth the price at $600 USD a bottle though. Oh and to add this was the 48.9% not the 40% version

Not to sure which one I'm thinking newer..we unfortunately couldn't get to chat about it with the retailer who really didn't want anyone else to know it was there!
@LeeEvolved @Generously_Paul @Telex I envy you guys—-sounds like it’ll be a blast
@Soba45 - nice score! Was this the newest (2015) release or an older bottle? I’ve heard the older releases were significantly better, which also explains the higher price on the secondary market (well, I guess availability comes into play some, as well). Either way, I believe this is already announced for Whiskyfest DC next month- along with the 27 and 30yo for VIP guests. I am stoked.
