I’m not sure why it’s taken me so long to try Bowmore. As much as I love Laphroaig and Ardbeg (I’m not a huge fan of Lagavulin), this is definitely a delicious change of pace. The nose I found very complex and appeasing. I got notes of chocolate, brine, pear, and a subtle sweet peat. The palate is not quite as complex but it has all of the flavors on the nose with a medium finish. Loved it. Can’t wait to try the older expressions and any that may have a higher ABV. I give it five stars for being an amazing 12 year at its price point.

@Rick_M you have to agree that if you are going Sherry and Peat that Uigeadail beats PX? No?
I do like me some bourbon @Rick_M. I loved PX at first then toward the end of the bottle it faded for me. I’ll be happy to try it again the next time I’m traveling!
Also, too much good bourbon in your diet. :)
You give this 5 stars and Laphroaig PX only 3? Your tastebuds require more scorching. :)
