Ok, now it is 4.2. This became much better after being opened and sitting for a couple days. Nose is real nice vanilla. Little sweet on the tongue, but not too much. Good for price. First review is still below.
-3.7. Nothing outstanding. Seemed to get better as the glass warmed in my hand. Nose of vanilla. Not really a huge fan. Prefer other bourbons in that price range. Not bad, but not as good as I hoped.

Not sure how the prices are in your area. But in PA Elijah Craig, Wild Turkey 101, Jim Beam Black, and Bulleit are all on this price range. I enjoy them all, with 101 and EC being my favorites, with Bulleit not far behind. I find BT to be sweeter than the ones I prefer. The JBB and EC being less sweet, and Bulleit and 101 being the least. Find what you like and give them a try. Of the Bourbons I mentioned for the price you really can't go wrong.

I'm newer to bourbons relative to other whiskeys, which other bourbons would you say are better in the same price range?
