Although the ten year old is my favorite whisky, this one doesn't live up to it at all. It's good, but a sad reminder that I could have bought the ten year old instead. The QC introduced more wood which takes a lot of the peat away. I wouldn't pass this up by any means, but if I'm buying, I am going with the ten.
