Light amber colored, light bodied with an oily mouthfeel. Nose: big aroma with deep caramel and brown sugar sweetness. Hiding behind that is some bright green apple. Palate: Caramel sweetness and slightly tart apple. Oak and some spice replace the caramel and join the tart apple in the middle. The finish is disappointingly light and lackluster and somewhat drying. It leaves some tartness and oak behind. 2.3/5 - it’s alright, but overpriced for what it is. Not offensive, but there are better whiskies which are less expensive.
