For those that are lovers of Ryealready or looking for a solid example of rye to get started Willett as usual has produced an exemplar. This 100% rye highlights that almost tangy quality that typifies rye from bourbon. In the mouth it imparts a high degree of sweetness without going over the top and I find myself frequently letting it sit in my mouth to allow the flavors to really sink in. Rich in flavor and high in alcohol this craft distillery (17 barrels daily vs 1700 at other distilleries) with its characteristic copper still has made a bottle worthy of any home's top shelf.
