My favorite JW "Label" scotch. I prefer it even over the infamous Blue Label. I tend to prefer smoky single malts anyway so this one fits me to a T. Nice, smooth JW medium length finish. Solid and reasonably priced.

@Reverend45 - when I see or hear things like that my heart breaks a little bit inside. 😥
I recently saw a video of somebody putting Ghost and Rare together with a lot of ice and coke. So....can't be that bad ;)
@PBMichiganWolverine - lol, don’t talk like that about the Ghost and Rare. I splurged for a bottle as well and I have to think whoever ends up drinking that bottle is going to really enjoy it. I know it won’t be me as there’s no way I’m opening it because I’ll probably be disappointed after the $300 price tag. It’s in the vault and I’ll pull it out from time to time to dust it off and look at the pretty packaging while shaking my head in disgust haha.
Simply and well stated.
JW Green is amazing for the price. Aside that one, the only other JW I’ve bought is their recent Ghost and Rare... but I’m sort of regretting that purchase now...thinking it was pure marketing and probably less substance
Allright, thanks for the answer :) I think I'll grab a bottle when I'm getting lunch today.
@Reverend45 - I haven’t had this one in quite a while. I really enjoyed it, especially on those nights when I didn’t want to be blasted by peat and smoke. This is a solid sipper and I wouldn’t turn down a pour at all.
Curious, do you still like the double black? My local discount market currently offers it for 25 bucks a bottle, and I'm not sure if I should get one....
JW Blue Label is for people with more money than sense... Seriously, you are paying for the brand, not the content of the bottle. When it comes to quality, Green Label is probably best. JW Black is good value for money, and one of the better blends you can certainly sip neat.
