WOW! I did not expect the spice tthat came with this bourbon(( though I should have!). Flavours of cherry and vanilla are prominent upon the first sip if your drinking it neat. If you decide to add some water or ice(( highly recommend) it becomes a much more drinkable spirit. I would not recommend using it for your old fashioned, but if you enjoy a good quality bourbon I would highly recommend!
