Bird Dog Jalapeño Honey Whiskey

Flavored Whiskey — Kentucky, USA

Reviewed July 8, 2017 (edited October 21, 2024)
no stars Simply cannot recommend under any conditions, perhaps as a baseline for what you should never EVER do to whiskey. Perhaps a jalapeno by itself, but this combo of pepper and honey simply doesnt work. It's difficult to imagine someone actually said this was a "GO" to release on. This is likely the clear result of what happens when you put marketers in charge who don't understand what bourbon whiskey is about. Not recommended.. NO GO... BROKEN ARROW

@commenters, indeed we have entered the world of the surreal when this gets by the product counsel as a "valid" idea. Then again we have "fruit loops" vodka on the store shelf these days, so it may be too late to stop the apocalypse, we have come the "end times" of liquor and are now standing on the precipice.

I got a bottle of this at an office party. I’m a bourbon drinker, and this certainly isn’t that. What it is though is a novelty for someone who likes jalapeños and whiskey. Reminds me of bacon sprinkled doughnuts.

@BeppeCovfefe how the hell does this even come to existence?
