A younger rum than I typically go for though the pineapple notes on the nose do shine through. Though the pineapple flavour on taste is not overly pronounced it does compliment the alcohol burn fairly well. The finish is definitely on the harsher ends, where rum is concerned, but isn't too overpowering. Overall, an interesting little number from plantation though works better as a cocktail base rather than a sipping drink.
