I was falling back in love with Ledaig but this one again has me thinking...eh maybe not. A work colleague I was drinking with preferred it over the 10 year Ledaig because he liked the rough rawness. Me not so much. Definitely got the finish coming through but quite bitter sharp and jagged. 3.25

@PBMichiganWolverine Ah I wouldn't take my schizophrenic affair with Ledaig as a slight on them or how good they are. It's simply a dram that has a profile which I think most people love or don't. I however seem to be caught in the middle and the casking for me plays a big part in if I like it or not (other than all the usual variables about what else I drank with it etc). This was an IB as well which isn't a true reflection on the distillery itself.
@LeeEvolved dude, no—-you can’t change names late into round 6 out of a 7 round series. @Generously_Paul probably already has T-shirts made, ☺️
@PBMichiganWolverine @Generously_Paul - yeah, he is a stickler for geography. Wait, epiphany.... Geographically_Paul Man, it’s like I have a sense for these things... haha
And don’t you forget it @PBMichiganWolverine 😂
@LeeEvolved yeah...if I said Kilchoman as next Talisker, @Generously_Paul would’ve jumped on me citing I’m getting geographical contexts wrong mixing up Islay and Islands. 😃
@PBMichiganWolverine - I thought Kilchoman was already the next Talisker... 😬
@Soba45 this is too bad...was hoping Ledaig as the next Talisker.
