Good dram. Sweetness of the vanilla from the ex bourban casks marries nicely with the peat. 3.75

@LeeEvolved @PBMichiganWolverine Yeah I've found the longrows pretty solid but with most of these peated non islay NAS's they are a bit of a pale imitation of the classic islays e.g. laph 10
@LeeEvolved yeah, I kind of think Campbeltown does well with aged statements, but falls short quite a bit on NAS ones. I feel like Islay can get away with it, but harder for other regions, especially Campbeltown
I’ve been drinking my way through a bottle of this and I gotta say I’m not that impressed. Maybe I raised my expectations too much because it’s a Springbank. Review to come soon.
