Cask W120607092. OMG. One the best I’ve ever had. Notes of chocolate, cherries, caramel, Barrel spices, mangoes, kiwi, cognac, vanilla, and Creme Brûlée.

@PBMichiganWolverine, @LeeEvolved, @Generously_Paul, @Soba45, @The_Rev Hey, do any of you have a whisky instagram account? I just made one. If you have one follow me @globalspiritslife
@worldwhiskies95 I’d say it’s better than Dalmore 18, but for me personally...the Yamazaki 18 is one of my top 3 ever and hard to beat.
From what I remember with my brief encounter with Yamazaki 18 and a sample of this at Whiskyfest, it would be an interesting comparison. Both are very rich- I’d say the Yama has more of a creamy mouthfeel, but flavor wise they’d both be a real treat. I’m gonna buy a bottle of this Kavalan soon, I think. Maybe I’ll open it beside my Yamazaki 18 and find out first hand. Cheers.
Haven’t had the yamazaki or yoichi, but personally I think it’s better than the Hibiki 21.
@Generously_Paul How would u rank this compared to Yamazaki 18, Yoichi 15, Hibiki 21, etc?
This is better than the Dalmore 18. A close second to HP The Dark as best in show at Whiskyfest
@PBMichiganWolverine regarding aftertaste’s, all batches are a bit different. Would u make the everything good but free throw comparison u made with the dalmore 18?
@worldwhiskies95 if it weren’t for that slightly tannic bitter aftertaste...I,know I’m slicing hairs at this point
