Corralejo Reposado Tequila
Tequila Reposado — Guanajuato, Mexico

Vegetal, herbal spice agave. Very little sweetness. Salty and mouth parching like Siempre and Pasote, similar quality. Definitely did not live up to the hype. The anejo’s better. $74 in Ontario.

@BDanner Maybe. I wasn’t a fan. The anejo isn’t as well received but I actually liked it better than the reposado.
I picked this one up based on all the love it gets here, and unless it greatly improves with some air in the bottle, it's a huge letdown. Weirdly vegetal (canned green beans) and earthy (wet sand) with little to no sweetness. Maybe we got bottles from bad batches?
They’re about the same quality but very different styles. They both have light profiles with a little spice to them but Corralejo is herbal/vegetal while Casamigos is caramelized/vanilla, almost over sweet.
@DavidGrisebach, how would you compare this Reposado to that of Casamigo's Reposado? I purchased a bottle of this the other day but havent tried it.
