One of the first whiskey purchases I made that I ended up pawning the bottle off to someone because of it's "harshness", but after years of growing up, I've circled back to try it again. Blind taste test notes: "Light amber in color, the nose has a 'strong heat' with no real aromas picked out until adding a little water (which lets out honey and vanilla). Taste wise there was an immediate cherry flavor, followed by peppery spice and clove, which was again mellowed quite a bit with water to a much more palatable dram. Not bad for the price at all"
