@consamp Yeah I found the same thing. Quality drop but I personally just didn't like the flavor profile of the single barrel and gave the bottle away in the end.

@cascode I offer my condolences as well. I'm making my first trek to your wonderful coninent this December. I have began my whisky bar research, any reccomendations?

@Generously_Paul I need to revisit that. I finsihed a bottle and was unimpressed but that was a year or so before I decided to devote my free time and wallet to this magnificant liquid.

@Generously_Paul Ah, If only, mate - but this stuff is rarer than rocking horse crap in Australia, and when you can buy it it's around $120 a bottle. Stiil, it's on my to do list now.

If you are willing to spend a little more try Four Roses single barrel. Quite good

@cascode I couldn’t agree more. I need to give my bourbon a little more love (a recent scotch convert) but this may be as good as you can get in the category regarding bang for buck.

@consamp Agreed. For me this is one of the best value for money buys in whiskey. Affordable class.
