Redbreast 12 year is a bit of a conundrum. A true and proper single pot still whisky that seems to have multiple personalities. The nose is full with the sherry casks providing plum and cherry smells. The taste is truly an experience. The front has amazing flavors of a spicy red wine before giving in to a beautiful shortbread cookie irish whisky. For no other reason that the taste experience everyone should try this whisky once in their lives.
