Very cool backstory of the founder, and pretty cool looking bottle, however the bottle doesn’t always make for a good whiskey. Drinking this from the tin cup provided makes me feel like you have to be off in the mountains to drink this. I drank this straight from the tin cup and it’s aroma was pleasant and subtle. Not too sharp, doesn’t burn the nose hairs. The taste is very similar, not too much of a burn almost a nice sweet after taste. Will buy again, maybe when I go on a camping trip.
