Nose: Initially vanilla and creme brûlée, with peach cobbler following, and then baking spices, primarily allspice and clove.
Palate: sweet tea, followed by more spices, with a little alcohol warmth mid palate, and a bit of dark chocolate.
Finish: The dark chocolate continues with a pleasant bitterness through the warm medium long finish.
This is a fantastic bourbon for the modest cost. A tasty and accessible offering from Buffalo Trace. A solid four stars.

@DUBZ480 I appreciate he tip. I’ve been wanting to give the McKenna a try, but haven’t done so yet. I will keep it on the list. Thanks.
I go back and forth with this Bourbon. I have had some great bottles and some that had a really pronounced sweet corn notes that I was not in love with. I do prefer the consistency of McKenna over this one for the same cost.
