2oz pour. Not as good as batch 001. Stewed fruits and toffee on the nose. Dark chocolate and spices on the palate. A smooth inoffensive finish. Like with Macallan creates, this is a departure from traditional sherry flavors not because it is better, but probably because it is cheaper. This brand is very comparable to Macallan. Unfortunately, the prices are similar too. A full bottle here is ~100 USD. I think I’ll pass. Pretty good whisky though. 89 / 100
