The nose is like standing in the rickhouse. It's almost better than the taste, which brings a clear oakey flavor from its age, as well as brine and rye on the way out. The finish is on the sweet side and maintains the character of the barrel. An amazing deal and one of my all time favorites; it's great however you take it.
