Visual: Darker copper, slightly oily, clings nicely to glass Nose: I got honey, oak, and dark fruit Palate: More fruit and honey with a little cream. Bit of vanilla then back to oak Finish: Smooth, slightly astringent with moderate burn. Gives way to carmel and finishes slightly with cherry. Nose was pleasing, palate was average to slightly above. I expected a bit more but since this is single barrel I would expect that to be hit or miss on preference. Need more tastes to really conclude.
