Appearance: Medium gold to copper. Slightly oily Nose: Dark fruit and vanilla dominate, some alcohol comes through. Palate: Traditional Vanilla and caramel with a bit of apricot. Not complex very straightforward Finish: Very little burn, quick finish. easy to drink. Finish is consistant with palate. I would agree that this is an excellent introductory whiskey that is very suited for stone sours. A mainstay under my bar.
